Tampa Bay Academy of Hope
"Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wronged.  Sometimes in your life you will have been all of these."

Our Executive Director

Ms. Lamb has increased services at Tampa Bay Academy of Hope by providing Positive Development programs for youth, adults, and families.  She has added several new programs including the Youth C5 programs (Achieving Core Talent, Talent Outreach Programs) and NOW programs (No Offender Without a Second Chance Youth Mentoring) for youth.  She also added NOW programs for Adult Mentoring.  In addition, our PLAN (Parent Leadership Advocacy Network) addresses the needs of parents and teaches them how to advocate for their students.

She is a strong advocate of partnerships to increase services to clients and better serve the needs of the community.  If you would like to partner with Tampa Bay Academy of Hope, email Ms. Lamb at tlamb@tampahope.org.

Titania Lamb has been the Executive Director of Tampa Bay Academy of Hope since June, 2010.  She took over to continue the tradition of the Academy of reaching out to the least, the lost, and the last of our community.  Her mission is to reach as many families, individuals, and youth as possible.  She believes that education is the best chance for youth, adults, and families to overcome poverty and overall inability to achieve self-sufficiency.

Her belief is that for our youth to value themselves and their education they must have exposure, their minds must be opened to the possibilities, they must have positive role models, they must learn creative problem-solving, and they must have a community and a culture which nurtures, supports, and helps them to grow into positive individuals.  She is an avid reader and believes that it is of the most import that students have a solid reading, writing, and math base in order to be successful in education and in choosing careers for life.
